Teen Classes

We offer volleyball classes for teenagers ages 11 to 17 years old. Our classes are great to prepare teenager volleyball players for school team tryouts, colleges and clubs. We organize our own volleyball tournaments and also participate at local competitions.

We don't split our groups by ages, but levels. We offer five different levels:

LEVEL 1: classes for teenagers that haven't learned yet the volleyball fundamental techniques.

LEVEL 2: classes for teens that are still beginners, but have learned to move towards the ball, communicate, and basic volleyball techniques. A lot of work on serving over the net.

LEVEL 3: sessions for teenagers that got decent ball control will learn where to place the ball, offense and defense positioning. A lot of work on serving over the net. The participants will also define the position they will play the volleyball game moving forward.

LEVEL 4: these sessions are a mix of games and practices. The teenager players will practice the position they play and different rotations.

LEVEL 5: the most advanced level. They have a position and know different rotations. They are ready to compete at a higher level.

Not sure about the level? Click at each option and you will find proper description, available time frames, locations and fees. In doubt, always register for a lower level. It is better your child feels secure and confident instead of intimidated.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I know my child is at the right level?

Every practice the coach is assessing if a player should move to another level. If this is the case, the coach will communicate the player, and an email will be sent to the parents.

When a cycle is done, is the player moving to a higher level?

Completing a cycle of classes don't guarantee the player will move to the next level. That varies on each participant, and also how much effort is placed aside the classes. We highly recommend practicing 3x to 4x a week for great results. Also reducing screen time as much as possible.

I can't attend one of the classes. Do you offer refunds?

We don't offer refunds. For every cycle of classes we will offer one make up session as a courtesy. The make up session might be offered at a different day, time frame, and location.

What equipment is needed?

Every participant should bring their own volleyball to every practice. Without a ball you cannot participate. Knee pads are optional but highly recommended. Mandatory use of sneakers. Clothes should be athletic and comfortable. Players with long hair should have it tight up properly.

Are friends and family allowed to watch the classes?

Yes, no extra fees. BUT coaches can be approached only after the class is over. Also in a very courteous manner. If any participant or anyone connected to that participant disturbs the class, those involved will be invited to leave the gym and depending on the case, the player connected to them will be excluded of the program.

I forgot my volleyball or any other items at the gym.

We are not responsible for any items forgotten at the gym, and there is nothing we can do to help regain it until the next session of the class. The person who forgot the item can feel free to contact the school at business hours and understand what to do to regain what was forgotten.
